School
My philosophy class is almost over (and I really should be studying). I don't want it to be over, it just sucks. I'll have to go back to regular school in the fall which is just horrible. Anyway, due to this I was thinking of this song, so (since I should get back to studying) I'll post and then say more tomorrow... = )

AHHH, MC5 a truly great band and I looove Vanian/The Damned (if you hadn't picked up on that from the clever wordplay on my blog title).
I was so over school I tested out when I was 14. That's not for everyone though, maybe it won't be too bad.
It won't. It's senior year, it's never as bad as I think it will be. I'm just in all AP courses basically and applying to college and all the other crap. Yeah, I know a few people who've tested out, but I can't do that (my rents would kill me, though people have told me that I should). The only reason I don't like it is because I actually have to do work and in school they take away all your rights (at least with the police you have rights, in school you have literally none, it's terrible).
Haha, I don't listen to much to the Damned, but what I've heard I like. MC5 is killer.
My mom was not thrilled about it either but it was either that or just let me dropout, I spent so much time fucking off and running to other cities for months that she figured it was better than nothing.She the enrolled me in college at age 14 which was a joke! All I did was meet people older than me that had better drugs and their own places to do them in. Schools have morphed into prisons in recent years and it's truly sad. I did good in school when I was there but I was just so fucking bored with it that I could not bring myself to face it every day besides squatting in smelL.A. and 'frisco way way more fun!
The Damned are probably one of the best bands to come out of the UK in the late 70's along with the vibrators, wire and the buzzcocks,if you haven't checked all that shit out you should, you won't be sorry!
I'm dying to go to college. I do really well in school, that's the difference between me and my friends. They all go off and skip and crap like that, but I never do that. I don't know, I want to go somewhere really good for college, somewhere that will keep my mind working. School is boring because they deal with lots of crap which is either A) a waste of time or B) unrelated to current society. If they actually dealt with students in a way that was respectful and made school interesting instead of miserable, more kids would actually try.
I really like Wire (my Latin teacher burned me Pink Flag). I shall get on downloading the rest (I've heard of all of them, I'm just a lazy fuck). = )
It's really cool that you know what you want as far as college goes, having a plan is always a good thing. My step-dad is a tenured proffesor at CSUB, so I could have gone to any of the UC schools no problem because of that but I didn't want to waste my parents money just to dissappoint them further. I knew what a fuck up I was , even then. I just had to re-live the mistakes of the people I idolized. I learned alot and yet I am still a fuck -up, go figure.
I would reccomend Melody Lee by The Damned, oddly one of my favorites. :)
Ex-lion tamer is awesome, and check out whips and furs by The Vibrators, classic!
